TAKE NOTE: THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH LEARNING TO TANGO IS THAT MOST INSTRUCTORS TEACH TANGO BY ROTE. ~ PATTERNS AND ROUTINES INSTEAD OF HOW TO IMPROVISE AS YOU DANCE. ~ PEOPLE ARE TAUGHT WHERE TO PUT THEIR FEET BECAUSE THAT’S HOW THOSE TEACHERS TEACH *EVERYTHING*. ~ I DON’T BELIEVE THEY UNDERSTAND TANGO VERY WELL. ~ TRY TEACHING TENNIS THAT WAY. ;-) ~ YOU’LL LOSE EVERY GAME. ~ IT’S ‘MECHANIZED’ TANGO. ~ TRUE TANGO (AND TENNIS) ARE IMPROVISED EACH STEP OF THE WAY, AND CANNOT BE ‘REMEMBERED’ AHEAD OF TIME. ~ DON’T LET ANYONE TELL YOU DIFFERENT.

This is a 60 min class, followed by
Q&A or other help for 30 min.

By the end of the first session
you will know how to Tango...
Polishing starts with the second lesson.

Each class will then give you more
ability, confidence and finesse.

Learn Tango as it was in the beginning.
How it was meant to be danced.

Our understanding of the dance comes
from 14 years of focused study. 

Remember.., you cannot learn improv
using ballroom methods.
