Buffalo Tango offers lessons on a one-on-one or group basis. Lessons take place at Buffalo Tango on Main Street in North Buffalo or at your location; home or office.  Depending on the day, lessons are available morning, day and evening.   Groups or individuals may book lessons by email to brian@buffalotango.com and requesting a time slot, usually 60-90 minutes.

Dance as an Employee Benefit

As the market becomes more competitive, employers have looked to employee benefits to attract and retain good people.  Historically this meant providing benefits such as health insurance and a retirement plan. Today, most businesses offer more options. Additional employee benefits might include in-house childcare, free lunches, flexible work arrangements and tuition reimbursement.  To help employees keep active, in addition to subsidized gym memberships, forming a company softball team and participating in the Corporate Challenge road race, some businesses are offering in-house dance classes for employees.

Dancing is exercise, with mental and physical benefits.  It is an inclusive, low-cost activity that allows participation by all ages, genders and abilities.

The benefits include increased body awareness and balance, enhanced creativity and socializing.  Dancing has a positive impact on overall well-being and productivity.

Why Tango as an Employee Benefit?

Tango is a "partner dance" where you and your partner work toward a common goal.  One needs to be aware of their own movements as well as their partner's, and the dancers around them.  It helps build relationships, improve communication and enhance decision-making.  Tango is an improvised dance requiring intense concentration at times. A weekly on-site dance lesson brings together employees from diverse ages, departments and interests.  Add dancing to your company wellness program today by reserving your in-house tango lesson.  Email  brian@buffalotango.com
